Mai Thuy Nguyen, CPA, MBT

Mai has been licensed to practice public accounting in California since 1989. She received her BS degree in Accounting from California State University at Long Beach and her Master of Business Taxation from University of Southern California.

Prior to starting her own practice, she has worked in both public accounting firms and in private industry. Her public accounting experience included working for Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., Ernst Young, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. In 1995, Mai established her own practice helping individuals and small businesses with bookkeeping, accounting, tax return preparation, tax planning and business consultation services. Mai specializes in tax controversial work that involve interactions with the Internal Revenue Service and other state taxing authorities regarding audit representation, Offers in Compromise, Lien and Wage garnishment, and Installment Agreements.

Mai's extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with the taxing authorities, financial and business advisory services uniquely qualify her to provide tax, accounting and business consulting services to you and your business.
